Bespoke, sculptural and completely one-of-a-kind, each of Kelly’s pieces have a story to tell. Working out of her home studio in Currumbin, Queensland, Kelly Bignell is a self-taught ceramicist creating exquisitely beautiful ceramics. Made entirely by hand using either the wheel and/or coiling method, the small selection of vases, cups, bowls and plates are glazed in delightful neutral, pastel and iridescent hues. Drawing inspiration from feminine lines as well as shells, coral and other natural objects found in the ocean, Kelly’s handmade vessels look perfectly at home in a variety of interior settings.
